Importing Data
Rabrain allows importing data from other popular bookmarking or read-it-later services.
Importing from Pocket
- Go to the Pocket export page and follow the instructions to export your data into an archive file.
- After a couple of minutes, Pocket will mail you a zip file with all the bookmarks or articles you have saved.
- To import the data to Rabrain, go to the library page and click the "Upload" button next to the Pocket icon.
- A file upload dialog will appear. Select the zip file you received from Pocket and confirm your choice.
- Rabrain will start importing the data. This may take a few minutes.
- Once the import is complete, you'll see the imported bookmarks or articles in your library.
A new collection will be created automatically with the name "Pocket". The imported bookmarks or articles will be added to this collection.
Importing from Omnivore
- Go to Omnivore's account settings page to export all of your data.
- After a couple of minutes, Omnivore will mail you a zip file with all your data. You can also download the file from the account settings page.
- To import the data to Rabrain, go to the library page and click the "Upload" button next to the Omnivore icon.
- A file upload dialog will appear. Select the zip file you received from Omnivore and confirm your choice.
- Rabrain will start importing the data. This may take a few minutes.
- Once the import is complete, you'll see the imported bookmarks or articles in your library.
A new collection will be created automatically with the name "Omnivore". The imported bookmarks or articles will be added to this collection.
